The Shape of the Trip
Walk-in tents with real beds and bucket showers, a mess tent, and a crew who set up and strike camp for you. The camp moves to follow the game — often into areas the permanent lodges cannot reach — so you fall asleep to the sounds of the bush and wake up in the middle of the action.
Travellers who want to feel closer to the wilderness than a lodge allows, and who don't mind a simpler set-up for a fraction of the luxury-camp price. Ideal for following the Great Migration.
Private mobile camps (yours alone) or seasonal semi-permanent camps that relocate twice a year with the herds. Comfortable canvas — proper beds, an en-suite bucket shower and safari loo, lantern light, and meals around the fire.
'Camping' here does not mean roughing it — it means canvas and flexibility, not a sleeping bag on the ground. Nights get cold and the crew fills hot water bottles. A private mobile camp can be pitched almost anywhere you want to be.
