A dawn flight over the Serengeti or Tarangire, drifting silently above the plains, followed by a champagne bush breakfast.
Balloon safaris launch at first light, when the air is stable. You lift off as the sun comes up and float for about an hour, low over the grass one moment and several hundred metres up the next, watching the plains and their animals from an angle no game drive can give you. The flight ends with a traditional "champagne breakfast" laid out in the bush, and a drive back to camp.
Flights operate in the central and northern Serengeti and, seasonally, in Tarangire. They book up well ahead in high season, so tell us early if you'd like one added.
