Serengeti Under Canvas is a set of small mobile camps that &Beyond relocates through the year — southern plains for the calving, the Western Corridor, the north for the crossings — so that guests are always within game-driving distance of the main herds. The style is deliberately old-fashioned: pitched canvas tents, en-suite safari bathrooms with heated bucket showers, lantern light, dinner around the fire.
Because it moves, availability in any given region is limited and books up early. It's the closest most travellers get to a 1950s-style mobile safari with modern comfort.
