A four-star chain lodge on top of the Rift Valley escarpment, with round rooms and a pool looking out over Lake Manyara and the park far below.
The Lake Manyara Serena stands on the lip of the escarpment, so the view from the pool and the lounge is straight out over the treetops to the soda lake and the plains. Rooms are the chain's usual domed rondavels. The lodge is a short drive down the escarpment road to the park gate, and it's a natural overnight stop on the way between Tarangire and the Ngorongoro highlands.
