Tarangire National Park Day Safari

Tarangire sits about two hours from Arusha, close enough for a rewarding full-day game drive. The Tarangire River is the only reliable water for miles in the dry season (June–October), so wildlife pours in — the park is famous for large elephant family herds moving between the ancient baobabs, along with lion, giraffe, zebra and an exceptional range of birds.

The day is a private game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park, returning to Arusha by evening. It pairs well with a Lake Manyara or Ngorongoro day on either side.
